Instructions for Using Your Hypnosis Recordings
How to Use Your HealthWise Hypnosis Recordings for Best Results
You should listen to your hypnosis recordings daily for at least 21 days. You will most likely begin to benefit from and recognize changes before that time, but consistency is key. I always see a big difference between the success of my clients who listen to their recordings consistently each day, and those who don’t.
If you have more than one title, it is probably best to listen to one recording at a time to allow your mind to focus on one goal. However, some recordings will work well with others if the issues are closely related.
Be sure to allow at least 25 minutes, without disturbance, to listen to your recording. If you are interrupted during a session, which may happen, simply begin again when you have another opportunity without interruption.
The hypnosis recordings must not be listened to if you are in any situation that requires your attention, such as when driving your car. Each hypnosis session begins with an induction. The induction is the part that creates relaxation. When a person is completely relaxed, it is much easier to drift into hypnosis and communicate with the subconscious mind.
There will be times when you may feel like nothing is happening, and there will be times when you feel that you’re in a deep state. It amazes me how many of my new clients think that nothing happened when they were actually in hypnosis. Don’t analyze, just enjoy the process. If you find your mind wandering, which sometimes happens, just gently bring your attention back to my voice on the recording. You will eventually be able to drift into hypnosis.
I get questioned quite often about falling asleep in the middle of the session. Many people think they fell asleep during the session because they don’t really remember what was said on the recording. Here is how you can tell if you fell asleep or if you were in a hypnotic state:
If you “wake up” during the count up at the end, even if you don’t remember a word that was said before then, you were in hypnosis.
If the recording has ended, the count up has been completed, and you didn’t hear it and don’t come to attention, then you have most likely fallen asleep.
Falling asleep during the recording is not without benefit, however, because you were most likely in a very light sleep state, which is actually very similar to the state of hypnosis, and your subconscious mind will absorb some of the hypnotic suggestions.
The end of each recording gives suggestions to either turn off the recording and drift into a deep, restful sleep, or begin the count up to return to alertness. You can therefore use the recordings first thing when you rise, during your day or right before you go to sleep, whichever you prefer.

Enjoy!
